Perfect Pan-Seared Ribeye

INGREDIENTS
- 1 Ribeye Steak (1.5 inches thick)
- 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter
- 3 cloves Garlic, smashed
- Fresh Rosemary and Thyme
- Salt and Black Pepper
- High-smoke point oil (Avocado or Grapeseed)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Prep: Remove steak from fridge 30 mins before cooking. Pat dry with paper towels.
- Season: Generously coat both sides with salt and pepper.
- Sear: Heat oil in cast iron skillet until smoking. Add steak and sear for 3 mins.
- Flip: Turn steak over and add butter, garlic, and herbs.
- Baste: Spoon melted butter over the steak repeatedly for 3 more mins.
- Rest: Remove from pan and let rest for 5-10 mins before slicing.
