Learn to cook a perfect pan-seared ribeye steak in under 15 minutes! This method creates a beautiful crust and a juicy center every single time.


INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Ribeye Steak (1.5 inches thick)
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 3 cloves Garlic, smashed
  • Fresh Rosemary and Thyme
  • Salt and Black Pepper
  • High-smoke point oil (Avocado or Grapeseed)

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Prep: Remove steak from fridge 30 mins before cooking. Pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Season: Generously coat both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Sear: Heat oil in cast iron skillet until smoking. Add steak and sear for 3 mins.
  4. Flip: Turn steak over and add butter, garlic, and herbs.
  5. Baste: Spoon melted butter over the steak repeatedly for 3 more mins.
  6. Rest: Remove from pan and let rest for 5-10 mins before slicing.
